Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Refrigerate 10 to 15 minutes, until set.
  2. Place the Oreos in a large zip-top bag and crush lightly with a rolling pin.
  3. Place the candy melts into a microwave safe bowl and heat in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until melted and smooth.
  4. Quickly mix in the peppermint extract and food coloring, tinting to desired shade. Stir in the Oreos, then spread gently over the chocolate layer. (You can reserve a few Oreos to sprinkle on top if desired.)

Recipe Notes

  • Uneaten Oreo bark can be stored in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 weeks. You can also freeze it in airtight containers for up to 2 months.
  • Be sure to allow your chocolate chip layer to set fully before adding the Oreo layer!
  • You can add sprinkles to the Oreo layer if you want but you’ll need to act fast because the candy melts firm up quickly.
  • Use regular Oreos, mint Oreos, golden Oreos, or whatever variety you prefer.
