I’m Kelsie and I love cooking, eating, and, most of all, BAKING. I drink my tea with milk (sometimes), my coffee black (always), and I think peanut butter makes life worth living. Copyeditor by day and cookie monster by night, I love all things related to food. I am a self-taught and grandma-taught baker and little makes me happier in life than sharing my food.
Even though I live in sunny San Diego now, I’m a small-town Oregon girl at heart–which means I’m a vegetarian who eats copious amounts of extra-crunchy granola. I love (Oregon) Duck football, (Syracuse) Orange basketball, and reading every book I can get my hands on.

This is Cookie. She’s a sweet little rescue dog from Baja Mexico and I can’t imagine life without her underfoot while I’m baking. We love long walks, eating peanut butter, and having conversations in Spanish. Because I’m not sure she understands English. (Or Spanish, really. But we get along fine with sign language.) All she wants in life is belly rubs and blueberries. She’s my kind of girl :).

This is Goldie.
She is the center of my world and together we spend hours in the kitchen. We also love Lifetime movies, reading, crossword puzzles, and long walks. (OK, I like crossword puzzles but she enjoys keeping me company while I do them.)
